That your swift arrows felled this day
You cradled its head as the last of its black lifeblood drained away
Though I'd stood beside you and sang the words of power in the fight
And watched your arrows in their flight
My heart cried out to see your beauty in the sunset's bloodred light
Your head bowed, revealing your might
